Beyond the Binaries: The Complexity of Abortion and What to Do About It
A couple of years ago I spent a few months researching one of the most polarizing issues in American discourse: abortion. Realizing that the issue was far more complex than it is usually presented, I wanted to write a guide to help people move beyond the simplistic binaries that stifled meaningful conversation and progress. The result was a 14-part blog series examining the issue biblically, historically, scientifically, and legally. Over the past couple of years I’ve found myself linking back to the series again and again and so I figured might be helpful to combine it into a single resource. Using Amazon’s self-publishing feature I’ve created both an e-book and a print book. It’s not as polished or updates as I would like, but with abortion being a major topic of conversation as the election approaches, I figured available was more important than perfect.
